Can Obama's New myRA Improve America's Savings Habits?
The Treasury Department announced on Wednesday that the myRA has concluded its pilot program and will now be available nationwide. Designed to be a starter savings vehicle for middle and low income individuals that do not have access to an employer sponsored retirement plan like a 401(k) or pension, the myRA was introduced by President Obama during his 2014 State of the Union Address.
