The American College of Life Underwriters is an independent, non-profit educational institution committed to improving the quality of life through the advancement of adult learning and professionalism. Founded in 1927 by Dr. Solomon S. Huebner, internationally renowned professor at The University of Pennsylvania, its genesis was his vision and determination that a business institution, specifically life insurance, could professionalize itself through high standards of knowledge and ethical behavior of those within the business.
