Taxes aren't only factor in Roth IRA conversion decision
Wade D. Pfau
Q: My husband and I are thinking about converting our traditional IRA to a Roth IRA. We are both retired (he will be 65 and I'll be 67) and receive pensions. We haven’t applied for Social Security yet; we haven’t had a need for it yet. I'm leaning toward starting collecting Social Security soon to rebuild our savings.
