CRI: Return Chasing, Options Fuel Rollovers
The American College New York Life Center for Retirement Income
A study from The Center for Retirement Income at The American College of Financial Services has found the majority of retired plan participants left their former employer’s plan within three years of their retirement date. According to the survey, titled The American College Defined Contribution Rollover Survey, their departure was fueled by the promise of higher returns, better investment options and asset consolidation.
